The Tremble Clefs, a therapeutic singing program for people with Parkinson's, was founded in 1994 by Karen Hesley, in Phoenix, AZ. Karen brought the program to San Diego in 2001 and is still leading one of our groups.
Two Tremble Clefs groups meet weekly in San Diego County. Both groups are free and family members are welcome to join their partners with Parkinson’s. The benefits of participating include:
• Enhancing vocal skills through breathing, posture and voice volume
• Improving posture, balance and flexibility through moving to music
• Having fun singing with others
• Sharing music with larger audiences for fun and to promote Parkinson’s awareness
