Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are the heart of any charitable organization, and The Parkinson's Association is no different. Our volunteers contribute in a number of ways, including working in the office, representing us in the community, and assisting at educational and fundraising events.

Time commitment for volunteers are flexible and  may be a couple of hours a month, several hours a week, or just one day for events. Volunteers are needed year round, but the need is especially great around our special events - the annual 5K Walk, Fighting Parkinson's Step-by-Step (each Spring in San Diego and each Fall in Los Angeles).

Volunteering comes with fantastic benefits:

  • You'll find yourself smiling more
  • You may learn a new skill
  • You'll meet lots of wonderful people
  • You'll receive lots of "Thank you's!"

For information on current volunteer and student-intern opportunities at The Parkinson’s Association, please call 858-273-6763 or toll-free at 877-737-7576.
