The Parkinson’s Southern California Research Fund has been established to support World Class Parkinson’s research programs.
Southern California is one of the world-wide epicenters in Parkinson’s research. The Parkinson's Association is actively partnering with Southern California based Parkinson’s research organizations like USC, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, the Salk Institute, Sanford Burnham Medical Research, and the Scripps Research Institute, as well as organizations throughout Southern California. These organizations are working to find the cure for Parkinson’s. The Parkinson’s Southern California Research Fund has been established to facilitate collaborative efforts in the fight against Parkinson’s. The fund is reviewing these efforts and will support the most promising research in areas such as:
• Molecular Biology
• Drug Research
• Stem Cells
• Genetic Research
• Sleep Disorders
• Cognitive Studies
• Gene Therapy, and many more
Since our incorporation in 1989, the Parkinson’s Association has supported both local and national research programs.
The Parkinson's Association has invested significant resources to nationwide programs and will be expanding our efforts in 2014.
Your support of the Parkinson’s Southern California Research Fund and the Parkinson’s National Research Fund may help facilitate the cure!
